you say you want unity well you know

now we castigate the pumas....party unity my ass

now we see calls for unity, for giving bill clinton some love

now i see speaker pelosi allow that yes, perhaps hillary may have faced some gender bias, but still and all, it was no biggie anyway

the new york times even deigned to recognize the slimy drivel emmanating from maureen dowd when it was on any subject that might involve a clinton, even in an obscure way.

so, al in all, now we see the calls for unity, and the cat calls about hillary having supported and is supporting obama, and some will say...yeah, so what?

from my perspective the democratic party, which is now obama, has a large problem on their hands, they are now willing to cut hillary some slack, hell, yall know how hard it is being a woman, shucks, no shit sherlock. yeah, she got pissed on by the smarmy elitists like russert, matthews, olberman, dowd, peggy noonan, they loves the sewer, no doubt about it.

ok, but you still got bill clinton. based on the comments of rep clyburn and jesse jackson jr and some others he clearly was playing the role of strom thurmond insofar as being a racist

you going to boo him, if not, why, since you clearly think he was being a crude racist, and philanderer and quasi=monster from the black lagoon...or do you do a film retrospective of obama talking about how transformative reagan had been, whereas the clinton years were just wasted time in the desert?

having trashed a democratic president elected twice, what do you want to do to him now, burn him in effigy, tar & feather him?

you reap what you sow, you make people into racist pigs and assholes, funny, it sits not well with those of us falling into your descriptive language

i have some other words, but that would find me banned here too...why not, tpm.com has apparently soured on my comments

if its not 1000% obama every second, you are history dude...do not raise a voice of concern, even if you are a life long democrat...i voted for carter, mondale, dukakis, kerry, gore, clinton..all of them

take my words, trash them and me at will, your wit can skewer such fool am i

you say you want revolution well you know
we all want to change the world

you say your want unity well you know
that takes two to plan

It is not Barkey.... (none / 0)

I believe Barky, B-a-r-k-y, is a combination of Barack and Barry.

I have never read where anyone wrote or indicated it had anything to do with a racial slur. It is never used in a context where a reasonable person would believe it was a racial slur.

Anyway that is not how that racial slur is spelled.

Re: Obama doesn't need your vote. (2.00 / 1)

It's funny, because the same question applies to you.

Party unity is not about getting to vote for Clinton even though she lost.  If you have any respect at all for Obama, you will allow him the judgement to pick his own running mate as he sees fit.  It's an important position which many Democrats would be glad to accept.  It doesn't belong to whatever faction is better at extortion.  That cheapens the post.

But somehow, all of those fears dissipate when Hillary Clinton is added to the ticket.  Do you hear yourself?

Barack Obama is a democracy hating, reputation smearing, GOP loving monster... unless Clinton is his VP in which case he's got my vote!

I would also like to point out the irony of you complaining about Obama opening up to GOP support right after a post saying that you are going to vote GOP in November.  We need to start keeping a running tally of every post that you submit here in which you hold your vote hostage, because we've gotta be hitting triple digits pretty soon here.

Re: Big Brother says.....Unity on. (2.00 / 1)

Adding Hillary to his ticket is something he dislikes.

Self Sacrifice is a sign of character.

If Obama put Patti Solis Doyle in as advisor to VP as a petty little power game just to cause pain to someone else then that would be the opposite of character.

Wether Hillary is the VP or not, and to a lesser degree wether she blessed the Patti Solis Doyle position is very important to understanding the basic goodness or evilness of Obama.

If Obama is that petty guy who can't let go and goes out of his way to give others the finder then that presents a real problem.

I do enjoy reading the blogs at pumaparty and noquarterusa even though a few border on the extreme.

Will any of this talk accomplish anything? Will it be like equal pay, something Democrats talk about but do nothing? Do you really think these voices have the ability to accomplish anything? Does anyone know how many feel alienated from the Democratic Party? Is it enough to make a difference in November.

I don't think anything will change by not supporting the party but it may make some people feel better.
